A little surrealism on the way to the sea

Ten bronze sculptures on Avenida del Mar turn the walk between Alameda Park and the seafront into an open-air art stop. Marbella’s tourism office presents them as designs by Salvador Dalí — a rather different companion to the fountains and sea breeze.

Easy to fold into an old-town wander: pause over the sculptures, then carry on down to the promenade. No need to make a whole museum day of it.
